What I Do
My main focus as a tutor is your online learning. I offer modules and 1:1 classes for your Physics exam but also 1:1 sessions in Chemistry and Biology. I help you to achieve your grades by applying my years of experience in teaching and learning in science as a specialist in Physics. I also bring my experience in how examiners design exams.
My Philosophy
I know that not all learning happens in the classroom.
Not all learning happens during quiet study.
Reading notes is not learning.
Passively sitting in class is not learning.
Learning isn’t even a measure of intelligence.
Learning happens when you first understand a concept and then you repeat that concept in different ways. Maybe when you least expect it.
Learning is not easy.
But with my help, our time can be spent online learning.
And once you have learned, you can pass your physics exam.
My Methods
I aim to take a holistic approach to your learning. By looking at the whole picture, where your responsibility for your own progress and my delivering information and facts all play a part in your success. I create solid foundations in your science knowledge while giving you learning skills that you can use throughout your school career and beyond. I create challenge in a supportive and safe environment. I will start with the basics and once these become routine, move on to more complex concepts.
I always encourage two-way dialogue in my lessons; this is not a lecture theatre! As we learn through traditional methods of delivery, such as teacher explanation and written tasks, I also add spaced learning into my classes. By forcing the mind to recall facts, memory for those facts are strengthened and are less likely to be forgotten.
My Goals
My aim as a tutor is for you to own your learning and take your learning skills away with you into your life. I also aim for you to love Physics and science and to feel confident in your knowledge. I hope you go on to study Physics at a higher level. I also aim for you to go into your physics exam confident and prepared for whatever it will throw at you.

Group Classes £20 per student
Work with me as your online tutor in a small group of up to 4 students. This option is good if you enjoy peer interaction as you learn. Each group begins a module together and works through the weekly lessons.
VIP Science Tuition £35
As your online tutor, you can work with me 1:1 for any of the combined science topics. Contact me to see how I can offer support for your learning across all three sciences.
VIP Physics Classes £35-45
Work with me 1:1 as your online tutor if you prefer a deeper dive into a Physics topic. Choose this option if you are considering taking Physics at A-Level and need a boost or a sneak peak!
